A Community Effort
It takes a whole community working together to reach our goals in these areas. At Maryville, we have taken a leadership role in bringing together people from throughout the community – people from government, business, faith groups, community groups, philanthropy and ordinary citizens – all in an effort to improve the lives of children and families in our community.
Investing in a Child’s Future
At Maryville, we are proud to report that most of our budget goes to
supporting client programs. With seven facilities throughout the Chicago
Metropolitan area, we are committed to using our resources to achieve
programmatic excellence. Maryville is accredited by the Council on
Accreditation and the Joint Commission, leading certifying authorities in our field.
In order to maintain our services and programs for children and families,
we must rely on private support. While Maryville does receive part of its
budget from government agencies, public funding only pays a portion of
the total bill. The remainder must be made-up through the generous
support of corporations, foundations and individuals -- making Maryville’s
programs a real community effort.
